Situated in an under-utilised car park in a prime location in the town centre of Gravesend, this makers market is a celebration of the diversity in culture and commerce that reflects the strategic role of this town in the maritime history of the mighty River Thames. Inspired by the Timber Bridge in Gulou Waterfront in China, this landmark symbolises the bridge between the old and the new with the ambition to create inspiring architecture that is friendly to the planet and meets the needs of modern society.
